Today was pretty much a busy Sunday...
Started the day biking in Makati by myself. I was supposed to go to Mall of Asia but turned out it was packed with bikers, joggers and picnic goers! ;) I want go biking on a not so busy street where I can feel my heart beat, pedal away without worrying if someone or something is going hit me, whistling without getting looked at and thinking.
Later on, I met with my cousin for breakfast and had a long talk about anything. We dined at Pancake House and introduced to hear Gurtz, Pancake House's yogurt. She liked but not as much as I did. I guess because we already had a heavy breakfast to start with. ;)
I rested for a while when I got home while my family is attending mass. My sister texted me when they were done and told me they're headed to Kenny Rogers to have lunch. I took a shower, got dressed and headed there - not to have lunch but just to meet with them. They never stopped asking me to got to S & R because of the big sale. Finally, we decided to go today.
S & R was CROWDED. Honestly, crowded would be an understatement. The aisles which used to be filled with their items are filled with people and carts. For a while there, it felt like I was driving in EDSA.
Stuff I bought:
1 4.5qt Blue Bunny Mint Choco ice cream
2 bags Lay's Salt & Vinegar (gave 1 to my sister)
1 pack Twix minis (asked my mom to keep it)
1 bag Loacker Quadratini Napolitaner
1 bottle Soy Milk
1 bottle Pink Guava Juice
1 box pizza (half pepperoni & half cheese)
On our way home, I made the mistake of going to EDSA where we were welcomed by heavy traffic. We rerouted and finally got home. Luckily the pizza made up for all the trouble. ;)
It was a long day but fun. :)
Just me.

I'm back online...
Had problems with my internet connection yesterday and I got it back and running today! I called SmartBro yesterday and I'm lucky enough to have someone fix it today. I can rely much on my mobile broadband connection since it limits me to do some stuff - or at least with one of my tasks.
I found out that the cable got wet probably because it's been raining here almost everyday and the box where all the cables are plugged in is just outside my room. I had to replace the cable which cost me P800 and that's better than no internet connection at all. :P
I guess I better get back to work then... I'm just happy to see 3 blinking lights on my router again. :D

Unproductive
Woke up at 6am today to jog which I was not able to do because of Outlook problems. I was up since 6am trying to fix it. Luckily I got it all figured out at about 10:30am. I'm afraid I might have to do this the entire day and I have a lot of work to do! This is just UNBELIEVABLE!!! Well, at least, something good came out of this. I learned a few things and how to work around Outlook. Thanks to friends and the internet! ;)
Problems:
1. Hotmail won't open through Outlook
2. Unable to uninstall using my account(and I am the administrator!)
3. Can't upgrade Outlook Connector - needed for Hotmail to be accessible in Outlook
4. Gmail is way too slow when I use Outlook
Solution:
1. Had to run CMD(like DOS prompt) to activate administrator manually
2. Was able to uninstall Outlook Connector
3. Found a way to use Hotmail with Outlook without using Outlook Connector
4. Decided to use Gmail with Outlook and found out that Gmail's using POP3(used to be IMAP which made Outlook freeze) which is better because Outlook's not hanging anymore
As of now, I have more than a hundred MB of emails to be imported and sorted. This is going to be a looooooooong day! I haven't even started working yet.

A Good Disaster
Ok, so I’ve been jogging everyday for the past 2 weeks. I’m really motivated to do so cos I have a wedding to attend to in October and I really have(more of need) to lose some weight for me to fit in a nice dress. Whoa!!! Me? Dress? Oh well… It’s something I HAVE to do for a friend. Now that’s a different story…
I invited Patricia, one of my kabarkadas to hang out somewhere cos we lost power early this afternoon. I had to do some work I couldn’t get things done at home. I packed my stuff and off I went to Makati.
We had merienda at Kopi Roti in Greenbelt. Patricia and I decided to go window-shopping from Greenbelt to Glorietta. I kind of missed going to the mall cos I haven’t gone there for quite a some time. After going from one shop to another, I then thought of buying a new rubber shoes so I bought one. I thought it would stop there, but no. I almost bought me a digital camera but luckily I didn’t. I have to say though, there were a lot of really nice cameras out there. On top of my rubber shoes, I also got to buy some of my personal stuff and more.
Do I feel guilty for spending today… nah! Why? Because…
- I love my new jogging shoes—and the other one. I just don’t want it to deteriorate anytime soon because of the heavy load it’s carrying everyday;
- have a new toothpaste(I’m currently using Hapee’s Night Gel—how sad is that?!);
got more socks;
- finally got me an alcohol(realized today that we only have 1 alcohol in this household and we are 9 people and 1 dog living here!!!);
- I’m back to using facial wash(I’ve been using Cetaphil for a while now but I think I’ll use a different one before I go to sleep);
- bought my fave deodorant(my favorite scent – Secret’s Powder Fresh);
- All clean with Cuddles wipes for me & Tricia(we always need one especially when we have munchies in the car); and
- Tricia’s Bench Silver Dust(she loves this scent).
After my little escapade, I went off to BPI to fetch Trish and have a quiet dinner. She had a really long day and luckily she gets the Sunday off. She deserves it. And me? I’m home and will now finish the task I should have done when I was out and about getting reunited with Ayala Center. ;)

1:12 am
Yes, 1:12 am and I am still awake... wiiiide awake! I can still go jogging but that's too much. I might just wake up and realize I lost 100lbs. Why not?! I ate a lot this evening and I just drank a can of Cherry Coke(Tricia's favorite :))...
What have I been up to today...
My day started out by driving my mom to her office. That was better than having the car brought to Petron for an engine wash then have it fixed --aircon brokedown. Unfortunately, warranty has expired so my dad just brought it to some auto shop and got it fixed. It is actually quite important especially it's been sooooo hot nowadays. I heard temperature went up to 37degrees today. Unbelievable! Don't go out much at noon everyone!
When I got home, I started doing some work. I had 9 total tasks but some of those are not active, meaning, I work for them on an "as needed" basis. So I did some account creation, downloading, uploading, research, calls, etc... Quite ok. Just frustrated with one 'cos I've been doing a research since Oct 2009 and I'm still not done with it. I'm so lucky to have such a understanding provider. She told me "it's a big task, so no worries". How about that?! But I really want to get that one over with and move on to new tasks.
I left at around 5pm to meet my friends in Alabang cos we're having yummy S&R pizza for dinner. We ordered 1 whole pepperoni pizza and bottomless drinks! Sorry diet but I just can't help it. I've been craving for that pizza for such a long time, I can't remember. I took home 1 box for my breakfast later. ;) We also looked around to check what stuff we can buy at S&R and it turned out that there are a lot of goodies there. One is Tricia's favorite, Cherry Coke which she has been missing since I can remember. It's not available in any grocery but I found a stack of 'em there. Amazing, huh? Goodies??? Pile of chocolates, shelves of cereals, dips, chips, bucket(take note: BUCKET) of ice cream... heaven! Now I'm getting a membership card there... soon! ;)
We then went to one of our friend's house and I got to buy a lotion/body cream. I wasn't actually planning of buying one but I did and it turned out to be a really good buy. I can feel the smoothness of my skin--I sounded like I'm in a lotion commercial. I like the feel of it on my skin. So I'll make it a habit to put lotion on every night.
Before I went home I met with Tricia in Bon Heur to surprise here with the Cherry Coke I bought. I didn't mention earlier, but I bought her 1 dozen of 'em. I guess that'll will last her until we become a member of that heavenly grocery store with an amazing new york-style pizza. ;)
Home sweet home. I changed my clothes, sat in front of my laptop and started... chatting!!! Someone left me an offline message-the last buyer I worked with. But the first person I got to talk to was a friend I was with during dinner. We just can't get enough of each other. Haha Then other friends went online giving me good news that they already got a reply for the job they applied for online. Good luck Friends! You can doh it! Don't worry, I did a bit of work here and there but that's it.
2 assignments ended tonight--1) "$13-task", which I'm very happy that I finished it finally cos it was really taking a lot of my time; 2) a VA task where a lot of tasks were given to a bunch of us and then they'll be picking 2 VAs. Obviously I didn't make it. My theory, it took me 3.33 hours to get the job done while the other 2 were able to finish it in less than 2 hours. Another highlight of my evening was hiring my very own provider to do the October task. Now it should be done and over with by the end of the week.
So I guess that's it for now. So how do I end this post??? I'm really not sure. Hmmm... Oh! I knooooowwww...
*Stretches...yawns...yawns some more...*
Good night or should I say good morning??? Zzzzzzzz....

Work at home
I have been working at home for the past couple of months and it has been fun. Fun in a sense that I can work anytime I want or rest any time I want. Cool huh?
Yesterday, I hung out at Starbucks in Pacific Star and really enjoyed my stay. I was very productive until friends starting chatting away--which was fine. Tricia was right -- change of environment. I have decided to do the same at least once a week so I won't get bored in my room.
Now where do I go next week?

Watering Hole
I just got here in Shaw and decided to have breakfast first. Shangri-la Plaza won't open til 11am so I decidedo look around the area and find me a place to eat.
I really don't feel like drinking coffee so Starbucks is out of my list. Just across the street, I saw a restaurant, Watering Hole, with people drinking beer... My guess, call center agents. Who else would drink beer this early, right? This isn't Germany! Well, in Tondo maybe.
I ordered Tapa with Egg for breakfast(but I'm still waiting for it to be served while doing this). I am seated outside their restaurant together with the "early BEERds". I just realized how much I hate staying in our booth because of pollution and here I am having breakfasat right in front of EDSA. Well, what else makes good food but... dirt. Hehehe
Good food(at least for me!): dirty ice cream, fish balls, chicken skin, shawarma(MRT), isaw... and more...
Later, Chow time!
